Chewy Salted Matcha Rye Cookies
The absolute most delicious, chewy and complex cookies I have ever made. So easy and quick, you can keep these babies in the freezer for a later date or eat them all straight away. This makes a damn good cookie dough in general as well.

Growing up Mah Lai Goh / Gao was an absolute necessity! I tried Guaishushu’s yeasted version and left it overnight. It has a beautiful flavour and I got some tiger stripes as well. There are a few things I would adjust though.
