Savoury, salty, sweetness with toasty bitterness. This dessert seriously has it all!
My absolute favourite dessert to make now and one that was such a surprise. I crave this all the time thanks to fellow MKR contestants Jess & Cindy who were finalists for 2018!
Purple Sweet Potato/ Kumara Tart
A healthier starchy tart using Purple Kumara or Yam better known as Ube. There are no colour additives, only the natural bright purple colour this vegetable gives off. Burnt butter and condensed milk provide a creamy and extremely delicious tart. Not to forget this homemade flaky pastry is absolutely divine with it.
