Social Media

Creating a social calendar on Notion and building the ‘Makers and Creators’ series are a couple of the most rewarding projects I worked on. It was my first time completely taking control of a corporate brand and a great opportunity for international collaboration, to show what Kiwis could do.

My content strategy is an organic approach, with a focus on high-quality content that is useful with longevity. Reflected with consistent results of 8-10% engagement rates and international use. Instagram was a main focus as my audience is designers, architects and homeowners. Curating a design style for the imagery, reel and posts feed was exciting and my favourite part of marketing.

The Instagram Feed

Social Media Management

Introducing Notion, it became the key management platform for Marketing. Creating the calendar with the ability to create different views, filters, add tags, as well as tracking comments, made it great for planning content ahead that needed reviews and collaborative efforts.

I initially scheduled these on the Meta business suite but later used Hootsuite for its cross-platform and reporting capabilities.

Content

Content creation was one of my key responsibilities. Marketing a cabinetry hardware company was a challenge at times, but it did mean seeing how cabinetry is made from start to finish. That was an aspect I wanted to capture as I believed audiences would find it interesting and valuable for their own homes or projects. A big pain was that the audience wasn’t sure what Hettich did, so product-focused imagery was created to support the sales team

Key areas I focussed on were:

  • product

  • humour

  • b2b highlights

  • video content

  • creators and makers series (influencer/content creator outreach)

Videos

Video content about cabinetry hardware made to create engagement for homeowners and designers/architects. Views of 10k+ was achieved with the first video and noticeable difference with customers mentioning instagram to sales staff. It’s a great way to keep branding awareness and build brand trust. See below some of my favourite videos that I filmed, directed and edited. See more on the instagram reels page (2022- May 2024) No ad spend was used for these videos.
