Piggie Baos

I never expected to make over 200 piggie baos this month.

What started as something fun for Chinese New Year celebrations and also as a fun activity to do with my flat mates, turned into staying up until 12am until most nights or my latest being 4am. These have been such fun and has me hungry for more bao creations and something more of note to make my mark amongst any future customers.

I met people from instagram, talked to people at work that I normally never get a chance to and also realised just how much work goes into handmade baos! It wasn’t easy but I found a rhythm and was grateful that I love recording measurements and being organised especially when it comes to baking!

Here are are a few snippets of what I created and some beautiful people who shared a piece of their lives with me! There’s more on my Instagram highlights - pretty funny story is included as well 😛

Follow my instagram @bakewithmay to make sure you stay tuned for future bao projects. Savoury is definitely up next !
