Becoming quite the regular at this spot. They have one of the best Matcha lattes you are ever going to find in Auckland or to be honest the whole of New Zealand. Their aesthetic, service and Asian fusion (mainly stemming from Korean cuisine) creates unique dishes, which are made to look and taste beautiful. Find them on Instagram where they regularly update
Beautiful iced matcha made by their amazing barista team mid 2018 - not sure if it’s still on the menu but I’m sure if you asked they would happily whip one up for you :)
Their toasted ham and cheese croissant… holy shit. the best!
I believe they outsource their croissants - I think from @danthebakerdownunder ? I saw a post somewhere about it - since I follow them regularly I always remember what’s going on but can never find the posts hahah. Either way as well if you follow guys like Dan on the gram, you will surely find a bread/pastry community but I am so happy to have found. They make such beautiful baked goods, I stare at my screen just in awe at how amazing their stuff is!
Whoever is followed by these guys is surely to be an amazing baker as well.
Whether you like this guy or not - Albert from the ig @eatlitfood loves this place - check the links in the captions from the screenshots below. If that’s anything to take it on, at least you know The Candy Shop is definitely somewhere you have to visit at least once. I would recommend at least two Matcha lattes a week..

There’s no wifi here though. Stops people from staying too long which is understandable since they can get mad crazy at times. But for someone like me who loves to work in a cafe in the weekend and really wants to go here to work I do wish they did - or perhaps as a bonus for us loyal customers.. share the wifi pw with me plis hahaha. I definitely think the food, aesthetic and service is great and would love to know that you’ve gone too! They respect and choose high quality ingredients, so you really have to respect them for that too.
Please note I am co-founder of the Matcha that is supplied to The Candy Shop. I stand by my product and due to looking after social media this is also work relevant that I take photos with Matcha. I also do try the croissants and food etc for my own personal use and to review it. If I didn’t like something I would write it in
